In my last article I presented a small tutorial on how to open images in NetBeans IDE. I have extended the functionality and made a utility plug-in that can not only open images but also perform basic operations on them including Zooming, Cropping, Shearing, Rotating and filtering out RGB components.
I have also uploaded the plug-in on the official NetBeans plugin portal where it can be downloaded and used freely.
